This page allows you to submit or register to the RWCA 2006.
Consult the main page for more information on
this workshop.
Submission
To submit a paper, proceed as follows (see also the important dates):
- Prepare your paper in LaTeX and produce a PDF or PS file.
- Send an e-mail to the workshop chair, jan.draisma@unibas.ch,
with subject RWCA 2006 submission and the PDF
or PS file attached. Also, suggest a member of the programme committee to deal
with your submission. Do all this before 15 December
2005. Send your submission from an e-mail address where we
can contact you.
- If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail
within a week, contact the workshop chair, Jan Draisma.
- By 15 January 2006, you will receive a notification of
acceptance or rejection.
- If your paper is accepted, send us its LaTeX-code
before 15 February 2006. We will collect all accepted
papers in a booklet, to be handed out to all participants.
Registration
The registration fee will be CHF 30 (about 20 euros), to be paid upon
arrival. This fee covers:
- the workshop fee,
- the booklet with papers and a list of participants,
- a social drink (swiss German: `Apero') on Thursday afternoon
- and of course cofee/tea in the various breaks.
You will have to pay yourself for:
- lunches: nothing is organised but there will be suggestions
as to where to go;
- the workshop dinner for CHF 50 on Thursday evening; and
- a hotel room: A limited number of rooms have been
reserved by us; if you register early, you can profit from
this. See the registration form.
Finally, all participants giving a contributed talk will receive some
financial support for their accommodation, again upon arrival.
Here is a registration form (in ASCII). Use
your favourite text editor to fill it in, and send it to Jan Draisma.
Accomodation
In principle, you will have to book a hotel room yourself. But we
do have reserved a limited number of rooms, and we can also help
you in choosing a hotel; please contact Barbara Meiner for more
information. Furthermore, we have good experiences with Hotel Rochat; for cheaper,
simple but pleasant rooms have a look at Kloster Dornach. You may
also want to check out the Basel
tourism site.
